Thank you for the memories. We all know she had a life that was purposeful, with integrity, pride, conviction, and passion. She was curious and genuinely cared about others. Heartbroken indeed, she will be missed. To the Delgado and Williams families, we have so many memories of love and laugher, and my prayers are with you always. A life worthy of honoring. I worked with Madeline during my first tour with USAID/Egypt. Even though I was just a junior officer at the time, Madeline was always so kind and supportive, and always remembered me even years later when we were both in USAID/Washington. My deepest condolences for her family and friends.

We met Madeline and her lovely family sometime ago while serving in Ghana, and I personally had the opportunity to do morning walks with her between Labone and Cantonment before heading back home and getting ready for work. She also motivated me to attend a challenging bootcamp course early mornings. After we all departed from Ghana, we continued to communicate via emails; our conversations mostly revolved around our love for our families, and how to give our children a good foundation for their future lives as adults.
I personally admired Madeline’s lively and cheerful personality, she worked nonstop to inspire people not to give up, and pursue and achieve their goals; thanks to that, I still to this day continue my exercising routine that we did together. My family and I have the fondest memories of our time together with Madeline and her lovely family. We pray that God gives you the comfort to ease the pain you are feeling at this moment. May Madeline’s soul rest in eternal peace in heaven.
