Mrs. Janice "Jan" Elaine Buesing's Obituary
Janice Elaine "Jan" Buesing, 86, of Menomonie, WI, passed away peacefully in her
home on 11/07/2025. Jan was born on 12/20/1938 in Minnesota, MN, to Sherlock and
Sophie White. After graduating from high school, she moved to Minneapolis and began
working at ATT. Jan met her husband, Bob Buesing, after being set up on a blind date
by Bob’s sister, Joyce. They were married on August 27, 1960, raised their daughters in
Elmwood, WI, moved to Menomonie in 1984, and earlier this year celebrated their 65th
anniversary surrounded by family and friends. She worked at Red Cedar clinic for 26
years in their payroll/data processing departments.
Jan was a loving wife, dedicated mother, devoted grandmother, and cherished friend.
She was known for her warm hospitality, welcoming everyone with a smile! Her passion
for gardening brought beauty to her home and joy to those around her.
Family and friends are invited to honor the life of Jan Buesing at a memorial gathering.
The remembrance will take place at Menomonie Alliance Church, 502 21st St N,
Menomonie, WI, on November 13, 2025.
The schedule is as follows:
Memorial Gathering: 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.
Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m.
Reception with cookies and coffee in the church hall following the service.
Jan is survived by her husband, Robert Buesing; her daughters, Tammy Sachse, Teri
(Dan) Swingle, and Tracey (Tony) Korish; her grandchildren: Mari (Sanders) Moody,
Abbie (Cole) Janish, Anthony (Jordyn) Korish, Taylor Swingle, Karlie (Austin) Weishoff,
Isaac Korish; great-grandchildren: Jaden Sachse, Davonte Shutes, Pierce Janisch,
Louis Janisch; brother Donnie (Cheri) White; and sisters-in-law: Joanne White, Joyce
Goltz and Shirley Clark.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sherlock ("Shocky") and Sophie White;
brothers, Lowell White and David White; son-in-law, Gary Sachse; and granddaughter,
Rani Sachse.
