Taylor Joan Jeffries' Obituary
Taylor Joan Jeffries, age 23 of Noblesville, Indiana (formerly of Woodbury, MN), passed away peacefully on November 14th, 2020.
Taylor was born in Englewood, New Jersey on August 8, 1997. She graduated from Woodbury High School and continued her education at the University of Illinois Champaign Urbana. In 2019 she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science.
Taylor worked as a Lab Associate for United Animal Health since September 2019. She had a deep love of animals, especially farm animals. She volunteered regularly at the Humane Society. She was an active member of Progressive Baptist Church and its Youth Ministry prior to leaving for college.
Taylor is survived by her parents Kevin Jeffries and Kim Taylor Jeffries, brothers, Kevin Jeffries II and Elijah Jeffries, and other family and friends.
Taylor is proceeded in death by her paternal grandmother, Thelma D. Jeffries, maternal grandmother, Joan Taylor, and first cousin, Homer Nelson III.
A public viewing will be held prior to the service from 10:00 am to 11:45 on Tuesday, November 24th, 2020 at Progressive Baptist Church. Located at 1505 Burns Avenue, St. Paul MN 55106. Strict COVID guidelines will be enforced. Mask and temperature checks are a requirement to enter the church. Social distancing and the number of people in one room will be closely monitored.
A private family service will be held at 12 Noon and officiated by Rev. Melvin Miller. We invite you to attend the Virtual Service. The live stream will be available on the ProgressiveBaptistChurchMN.com website Virtual Worship Service link to our YouTube Channel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to PROCEED-Taylor Jeffries Scholarship Fund, 1505 Burns Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55106. This is a scholarship for African American students studying Sciences (Animal Science).
