Mrs. Verlene Eleanor (Price) Booker's Obituary
Verlene Eleanor (Price) Booker passed away peacefully on November 18, 2025, at the age of 96 in Saint Paul, MN. Born on August 7, 1929, in the same city, Verlene's life was marked by her dedication to her family and her community.
Verlene was a proud graduate of John Marshall High School, Class of 1947, and furthered her education at Rasmussen Business and Mechanic Arts Business College, where she honed her skills that would later support her professional endeavors.
Her career, though not detailed, was undoubtedly influenced by her education and her inherent qualities of leadership and organization. Verlene was also a devout member of the Camphor United Methodist Church, where she participated actively in church activities and community service.
Verlene had a rich and fulfilling personal life. She was an avid sewer, crafter, and gardener. Her culinary skills were enjoyed by many, especially during gatherings where she also loved playing cards. Above all, Verlene cherished the time spent with her family and friends, creating lasting memories with every interaction.
She is survived by her children: Glenice B Butler (Albert Sandifer), Rodney G. Booker Sr., Stephanie (Mychael) Wright, Emmett (Pamela) Booker, and Brian Booker (Cecile Zerna).
Sister: Dorothy Haskins and Brother-In-law: Roosevelt Campbell. Her legacy continues through her 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, who will remember her as a loving and wise figure in their lives.
Verlene was preceded in death by her parents, Turner Price Sr. and Harriet (Davis) Price, and Siblings: 8 Brothers and 4 Sisters, 2 Grand Children: Jessica M. Booker and Emmett C. Booker III
